CDG
to represent Breuckmann 3D Scanners in the UK
May 2004 - CDG are pleased to announce that they have entered
into an agreement as the sole distributor of Breuckmann
3D Optical Scanners for the UK & Ireland.
Based in Meersburg Germany, Breuckmann manufacture a range
of scanners for use in industries such as automotive, aerospace,
general engineering, micro engineering, road surface analysis,
dermatology and face & body scanning.
Breuckmann scanners are renowned for their high accuracy,
the speed of the process and the versatility of the equipment.
Using a digital camera, 3D data is captured using projected
fringe patterns to an accuracy of a few microns in just one
second. And the scanner can be converted in minutes from scanning
small objects to objects requiring a much larger field of
view.

And with software such as Geomagic, Rapidform or Polyworks
to convert the points or polygons into NURBS surfaces, users
